Rainy Night On The Lake
I got the idea for this painting while I was driving home from work one dark rainy night through Kirkland, Wa. I remember looking down a dark road towards Lake Washington and seeing the city lights on the other side reflecting on the lake. I liked the mysterious look of the scene with the dark rainy, foggy night and thought it would make an interesting and different kind of painting. I didn't have my digital camera with me at the time, so I just painted this from my memory instead of from a photograph.
